Personal Donations Can Be Made Here

The Las Vegas Lady Raiders need your help getting to the NFL Flag's National Tournament of Champions! Our team is composed of ten 12-14 year old student athlete girls from Las Vegas and Henderson, some from lower income families, and are currently participating with the NFL Flag based non-profit organization called the LVSL’s "Coach Ed Smith’s – Go Sports," which is based here locally in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Our team recently participated in, and won, the NFL Flag’s Regional Tournament in Phoenix, AZ which has put the girls into the NFL Flag’s National Tournament of Champions. We are only 1 of 8 girl teams from around the country who have won their perspective Regional and have been given the chance to be crowned as a true National Champion.

The National Tournament of Champions will be held in New Orleans, LA on January 29th, 2012, the week before the NFL’s Super Bowl which is also being held in New Orleans, LA. The tournament is part of the NFL’s week long festivities prior to the Super Bowl and will receive a lot of national attention with it being covered by the likes of USA Football and ESPN, just to name a couple.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for some of these girls to experience something so grand and exciting at such a young age while not only representing an actual NFL Team (The Cardinals) but the Great State of Nevada and the entire Las Vegas area on a National Stage!

The cost of transportation, boarding and food is expected to top close to $4,000 for the 10 girls on the team and the coaches. With many of the girls coming from lower income families, many of the players’ parents are unable to come up with the necessary money, if any at all.

We are requesting that local businesses, such as yours, help by sponsoring the Las Vegas Lady Raiders NFL Flag Football team. Your support, through a donation of any amount, would be greatly appreciated. Your sponsorship contribution will help cover the costs mentioned above.

- All sponsors will receive a Thank You certificate. Sponsors donating $250 or more will receive a beautiful sponsor plaque with your business name and picture of the team from New Orleans in place of the certificate.

- Sponsors donating $500 or more will also receive their business’ name or logo on Sweatshirts or similar that the girls will wear to and from New Orleans as well as the entire time they are in New Orleans.

- Sponsors donating $1,000 or more will also receive their name and/or logo on a banner that we will have up at the tournament.

The mission of the Las Vegas Lady Raiders team is to provide an atmosphere for players and coaches to work together to learn solid football fundamentals, good sportsmanship, valuable life skills and cohesive teamwork.

The Lady Raiders and LVSL’s Coach Ed Smith’s GO Sports is proudly affiliated with the United States Youth Football Association (USYFA) which is recognized 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Your sponsorship to our team is tax-deductible. USYFA’s Tax ID Number is 45-3828333, this is required so that your donation may be tax-deductible.

Please make checks payable to: USYFA and Reference Lady Raiders Flag Football in the memo line.

To ensure proper recognition and to allow for creation of the banner and sweatshirts, we need sponsorship’s to by NO LATER THAN JANUARY 5th, 2013.

We thank you again for taking the time to consider supporting the Las Vegas Lady Raiders NFL Flag Football team. For further information, your company can contact our Fundraising Coordinator/Head Coach, Grace Bernardo-Garcia at 702-302-6196.
