Today, August 4, 2015, is officially Mya Bartlett Day throughout all of Clark County. Mya received a Proclamation from Clark County Commission today.

Commissioner Larry Brown, on behalf of the Commission, presented a proclamation to 8-year-old Mya Bartlett and declared it Mya Bartlett Day throughout the Las Vegas Valley and Clark County. Mya finished second place, among 625,000 kids across the United States, in the Major League Baseball’s Pitch, Hit & Run competition. The prestigious completion was held in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mya is coached by her father and plays in the local Northwest Girls Softball league. She started playing softball when she was 5 years old, and plays pitcher, third base, short stop and first base.

Congratulations Mya! What A Great Honor!
