Last spring Las Vegas top prospects were tested and competed at the Phase 1 Sports Skills Camp and Combine. 2013, the 10th year of the Phase 1 event has arrived.

Phase 1 Sports Football Skills Camp and Combine is reasonably priced at $75 and open to current Freshman, Sophomores, and Juniors looking to showcase their ability. Phase 1 Future Combine (grades 6-8) is priced at $50. Alumni of the combines include NFL athletes Demarco Murray, Brandon Marshall, DJ Campbell, Phillip Payne, as well as hundreds who have gone on to play Division I college football.

For high school athletes Phase 1 Football Skills Camp and Combine is the best way to start your recruiting profile. This competition includes a complete online profile at www.phase1sports.com Prep Pages.

Attending Phase 1 Sports Football Skills Camp and Combine gives each athlete the opportunity to get professionally tested. Athletes will be tested in 40 yard sprint, 20 yard shuttle, vertical jump, and bench press (ball toss for grades 6-8). Following the event athletes will be evaluated and rated by Phase 1 Staff which gives athletes a chance to see their strengths and weaknesses. Athletes have a chance to measure themselves against other elite players in their class.

There is also an opportunity for great recruiting exposure and coverage. There will be stories, photos and videos posted on www.phase1sports.com and forwarded to national recruiting websites including Rivals.com, Fox Sports, ESPNU, Scout.com, Army All American Bowl Committee, and more recapping the top performers. Once online profiles are complete, information will also be forwarded to college coaches at the Division I, II, III, and NAIA levels.

Registered athletes participating in the 2013 Phase 1 Sports Football Skills Camp and Combines will:

•Have the opportunity to compete in testing drills, one on ones and 7 on 7. Athletes will also receive a complete profile at www.phase1sports.com Prep Pages.

•Receive a Phase 1 Combine compression shirt. (Athletes still must bring appropriate workout gear: shorts, sweats, football cleats and training shoes.)

•Be measured by height and weight, and photographed.

•Receive a proper, supervised dynamic warm-up.

•Be tested in: the 40-yard dash (twice, fastest time kept), vertical jump (highest jump kept), the 20-yard shuttle (twice, fastest time kept) and bench press (135 or 185 lbs.). If players are not satisfied with their results, they may scratch them so they are not reported.

•Be eligible for consideration for the next step attending a Phase 1 Football Invite only training Camp. (Selection is based on overall performance.)

•Get a chance to compete and be evaluated in a professional environment against others in your class, in your league, and in your state.
