On Friday April 26th and Saturday April 27th, 2013 the first ever Las Vegas Pirate Fest opened the doors to allow community organizations like LVSF to have booths set-up in an area dedicated for members of the local non-profit Community.

Hundreds of people attended this fun-filled pirate themed event over the weekend. The event featured actors who walked around in costumes, a pirate themed children's area filled with games, vendors of all sorts including some awesome food vendors and various groups and actors performed on stage and throughout the park.

We set up our table and stayed the whole day both days. We handed out sports safety information, concussion awareness kits and Sports Blast. We also talked to a number of parents who came our way about all sorts of things as it related to youth sports in our community and met a lot of new friends from within our local community.
