The Rams Pop Warner Football team consists of 4 teams from ages 7-14. The team is led by a family who has been coaching kids in the Las Vegas area since 1997. Three of the coaches, head Rams Coach Lynn Dixon, Bobby Henderson, and Will Henderson, along with other coaches who have known of or who have come into the Rams family by virtue of Pop Warner, dedicated their time, energy and money to help set the foundation of athletics and character development in the youth of Las Vegas.

Many of the players start with the Rams at age 7 (or younger) and stay with the Rams until their freshman year in High School because of the talent and commitment of the Rams coaches.

Because coaches often don’t receive the recognition they deserve, the Las Vegas Proclamation was an initiative from the parents to thank the coaches for their leadership and tenacity in helping develop the character and athletic abilities of Las Vegas Youth. The Proclamation claims April 15 as the Pop Warner Rams Football and Cheer Day in honor of the dedication of these amazing coaches. April 15 was chosen because it is Coach Lynn, Bobby and Will’s mom’s birthday, so the date was chosen in honor of their mom who passed away from Breast Cancer on 10/30/2006.

Their mom was the reason they started the Rams team. She supported the teams 100% and some of the players and cheerleaders called her grandma. In honor of the Rams team and honoring the dedication, spirit and passion of the coaches, April 15, 2013 is the day to commemorate the coaches who have dedicated their lives to youth in Las Vegas.
