Introduction:

Looking for ways to improve your skills around the diamond? Then look no further.  Improving Strength & Conditioning is one of the most overlooked aspects of athletics.  One thing will always remain…speed kills and the strong survive.  Come and learn the basics of athletic sports performance training with our team of Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialists (CSCS), one of the top certifications amongst sports performance professionals.  Participants will take advantage of a fully equipped sports performance facility with many of the same pieces of equipment found in collegiate athletic training facilities across the country.  Below are a few of the training aspects Top Recruit™ Introductory Strength & Conditioning clinics will be covering.:

  • Learn how to effectively warm-up before activity and how to cool-down afterwards
  • Small group stations and individualized instruction
  • Proper running form
  • Position specific programs
  • Effective ways to improve speed and agility
  • Cost effective drills and easy programs to follow on your own
  • Injury prevention programs
  • Baseball specific drills
  • Learn how to manipulate and use effective rest periods to your advantage

Additional:

  • Participants receive a Top Recruit™ t-shirt
  • Parents are welcome to attend and ask questions at the end of each day of the clinic
  • *This session is required for participants to signup for future Top Recruit™ Advanced Strength & Conditioning multi-week clinics in 2013
