players_soccer_clubIn another example of the LA Galaxy Academy's commitment to developing youth soccer players in the United States, the Galaxy and Las Vegas-based Players Soccer Club announced the formation of a youth soccer partnership. As part of the partnership, the Galaxy Academy and Players Soccer Club will share coaching resources and staff while creating a common curriculum and methodology for developing young players.

The partnership is the first out-of-state Alliance for the Galaxy Academy, which won the U-16 U.S. Soccer Development Academy U-16 National Championship in 2011. Players Soccer Club becomes the exclusive youth partner of the Galaxy Academy in Nevada. One of the premier youth soccer clubs in the state, Players Soccer Club will be able to provide unparalleled opportunities for Nevada youth to reach new levels in the game with this partnership.

"The LA Galaxy Academy is very excited to announce the addition of the Players Soccer Club as one of our LA Galaxy Alliance programs," LA Galaxy Vice President Chris Klein said. "Players Soccer Club is the first of our Alliance programs outside of Southern California and we look forward to helping them build up on their already solid foundation of producing the best players in the Las Vegas area."

Players Soccer Club is an emerging program in the region with an impressive structure and leadership.

"We will share resources with the Players Club as it relates to coaching, player development and scouting," Klein said. "Selecting a club is a careful process. We felt very comfortable partnering with Players Soccer Club. The level of talent in Las Vegas and its close proximity to LA promises a potential for a great relationship."

About Players Soccer Club: Players Soccer Club provides the best training opportunities to players in Southern Nevada. In addition to more than 30 youth teams playing in competitive leagues in the region, the program has produced some of the best players to compete at the nation's top collegiate programs and youth national team
