Silverado Little League was officially awarded the #3 seed in the Little League Western Regionals tonight after losing a tuff game against the Southern California Ocean View Little League.

In tonight's game Silverado hung on tight as the game was scoreless through 2 innings. So. California would strike first in the bottom of the 3rd to take a 4-0 lead. Silverado struck back in the top of the 4th with 2 runs to make it a close game at 4-2 but that's as close as it would get. Southern California would go on to score 2 more runs in the bottom of the 4th and 5 runs in the bottom 5th, widening their lead to 11-2 going into the 6th and final inning. Silverado was only able to score 1 more run in the top of the 6th giving So. California an 11-3 win.

Silverado will play #2 seeded Northern California Red Bluff Little League at 2pm on Friday in San Bernardino, CA. They will be looking to redeem an earlier shutout loss to Northern California this past Sunday.

Friday's game will broadcasted live on ESPN2 (Cox Ch. 31; DirecTv Ch. 209; Dish Ch. 144).
