Las Vegas, NV - September 18th, 2013 – The LVSportz Foundation is at once again! On Saturday September 28th, 2013 the LVSportz Foundation is teaming up with the Las Vegas Wranglers, the Las Vegas Roller Hockey Center, the Guns & Hoses Hockey Team and several other community organizations to present the 2013 Total Youth Hockey Experience which will offer local underprivileged youth a chance to partake in an exciting and unique sports related event for free.

This is the second event that the local non-profit organization is putting on under their new Total Youth Sports Experience program and they have added some unique features to this one they hope to include and expand upon in future events of this type.

“Seeming that these events are geared towards underprivileged and at-risk youth, it seemed appropriate to add on to the premise of these events to include a little more variety of programming that is still sports related but that can also be translated into normal everyday life” said Brian Bartolome, the Executive Director of the LVSportz Foundation.

What he is talking about is that in addition to learning sport fundamentals and competing in fun skills competition for awards, they have added a longer life mentoring session and now include Hands-Only CPR, AED Basics, Sports Safety Awareness and insight into other Sports Related Career Options apart from being a professional athlete.

The mentoring session will focus on Character Change and is being presented by renowned professional Tiger Todd of Hero School. The Hands-Only CPR, AED Basics will be taught by LVSF and Red Cross Volunteers while sports safety awareness will be taught by a local sports medicine professional.

Bartolome later stated, “in fact we had to break the event in to two separate parts that take place on different days in order to fit everything in.”

There are still spots open but they are going quick. Those interested are encouraged to visit http://lvsportz.com/experience to register for the event today before it fills up.
