UNLV Summer Youth Soccer Camps

UNLV will host a pair of camps on campus and a third in Henderson in June and July. The UNLV women's soccer program will host three camps this summer, two on the UNLV campus and a third in Henderson. The first two will be for ages 5-12, while the third camp will be a College ID camp in July. ------------------- Rebel Soccer Academy I for BOYS AND GIRLS is a unique opportunity for 5-12 year-old players to improve their skills, gain knowledge of the game and have fun! The Academy I is coached by the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Coaching Staff and members of the UNLV Soccer Team. The UNLV Soccer Team is a nationally recognized program. This is a special local opportunity in Henderson that will focus on beginner and intermediate age-specific training, while highlighting the rewards that the game of soccer provides. Henderson Panthers Football Team Shows Its Support for Boston

The Henderson Panthers Football team is in its inaugural season and has quickly become a big family. The team goal and mission is to develop character, sportsmanship, and focus on our young players becoming not just better football players but better citizens and students in the real world. This involves them having knowledge of tragedies such as the Boston Marathon bombing. A member of their Board of Directors saw the Boston B and thought it would pay a great tribute to those affected by the events in Boston when placed inside their traditional paw print. They decided to wear these stickers on their helmets to show their recognition and support to those affected by the events that took place in Boston. They took a simple coffee can and added a label to collect money in the stands. Their cheer team and other volunteers walked through the stadium at each game…
